The Role of Network Retention Manager

Due to a period of significant growth and recent product and technology launches, GO! are looking to appoint into the role Network Retention Manger to manage and maximise our relationship with a cross section of agency members.

Sitting within the central Network Team, Network Retention Managers are responsible for managing agency memberships, with the primary goal of maintaining & further increasing the rate of membership renewal, through attentive client management and development of best-in-class relationships.

The Retention Manger is responsible for delivering all effective communication and reporting in line with our membership SLA to ‘their’ agencies – the overall ambition being a partnership which is maximised and enjoyed, thus leading to members renewing.

The Network Retention Manager is a commercial role working in partnership with both internal teams and external agency clients, towards mutual benefit and success.

In line with the central function of the Network team, the role has responsibilities and deliverables which support across all teams and drive revenue.

These are split into the following core areas:

  • Commercial – Responsibility for Renewal Revenue
  • Commercial – Cross sell of additional Value-Added Services to our Membership
  • Client Service – Managing all reporting and comms in line with Membership SLA
  • Client Service – Focus on best practise relationship management
  • Project Management – Agency communications across live brief projects

Required Experience / Knowledge

Essential:

  • Customer Success/Retention experience in a commercial role.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and being the relationship lead.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proof of working to and exceeding commercial targets.
  • A strong relationship builder and effective communicator.
  • Experience within a senior role within an account management structure, responsible for problem solving to maintain client happiness

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the UK agency landscape and marketing disciplines.
  • An understanding of how technology can enhance the service to clients and increase retention rates will be advantageous.
