Loal - or Life On Another Level - launched today with support from GO! Network members BGN and Jaywing. Brought to market by the team behind ethical lender Oakam, Loal provides consumers with a data-led alternative to traditional credit-scoring systems, which Loal consider outdated and often limited in what they can really demonstrate about consumers’ credit worthiness.

Oliver St Clair, Head of Marketing and Customer Experience at Loal said, “We’re so excited to be launching our game-changing credit app. Loal will enable millions of financially excluded consumers to level up their financial wellness and build or rebuild their credit profiles. We’re shifting the power away from traditional lenders and 'black box' credit reference agencies back into the hands of our customers, unlocking the power of real-time, alternative data to reduce financial exclusion.

With creative support from Manchester-based branding agency BGN and additional digital support from data & performance specialists Jaywing, Loal is intending to revolutionise credit services for underserved consumers, with a radical overhaul of the traditional lending model.

BGN and Jaywing respectively won streams of work for the project in separate competitive pitch processes run via the GO! Network.
